Dr Shoma Dutt

Dr. Dutt is experienced in diagnosing and managing children with a range of gastroenterological problems including inflammatory bowel disease, allergic gut disease, coeliac disease and in the gastrointestinal complications of cystic fibrosis.

She is passionate about quality of care delivery in the hospital and in her practice. She is involved in developing pathways and treatment protocols for children with IBD (Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis), including the initiation and escalation protocols for biological therapy for IBD. She has had a long standing involvement in teaching and assessment in the Medical Programme, and in the Masters in Medicine (Paediatric) Programme of the University of Sydney, where she is a Clinical Associate Professor.
